Hello Friends and family, I am honored to be the Spirit People's Chief and I will always be the people's Chief for as long as they want me. Let me talk a little about our family which I am so honored to be a part of. We are a teaching and learning family, this means we learn and teach what we learn. Yes, we follow the Native American way. Our founders were Natives and over 60% of our members are of some or all blood. No matter your ancestry however, our gates and arms are open to all who come in a good way.
September brings us to our 3rd annual fall pow wow at the J. B. Starkey Ranch. Join us on the 19th, 20th, and 21rst to celebrate our elders with dancing, singing, drumming, story telling, and an educational village. Vendors from around the country will be present along with an on site silversmith. Gates open at 10a.m. daily.
